Air Italy just confirmed it will restart its summer service to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto, starting on March 29, 2020. The summer service will last until October 24, 2020. The airline will also continue to offer year-round flights to Miami and New York from Milan.

All flights on Air Italy to the United States leave from Milan's Malpensa Airport (MXP). Flights to New York are offered daily, while flights to Miami are offered five times a week. During the summer travel season, the airline will continue with the same frequency, in addition to flying to both San Francisco and Los Angeles four times a week, and Toronto six times a week.

This should be great news for anyone who wants to fly between Milan and San Francisco or Los Angeles. Air Italy is the only airline that offers nonstop flights between Milan and Los Angeles International Airport as well as San Francisco International Airport.

The airline says that Milan will remain at the core of its 2020 network. It has more than 170 frequencies operating from its main hub in Milan during the peak summer travel season.

During the winter 2019/2020 travel season, Air Italy will offer flights to new long-haul destinations. It will offer seasonal service to the Maldives, Mombasa and Zanzibar. The new routes will launch in October and be offered till the end of the 2020 Easter holidays. These new routes will use the airline's A330-200 aircraft, which are used in the summer for its Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto routes.
