While the San Francisco Giants may not be competing for the pennant race, there is still good reason to go to home game, at least on Saturday, September 14th. The San Francisco Giants are offering 2-for-1 vouchers, for flights on Alaska Airlines, to celebrate Alaska Day at the Giants.

The promotion is generous, and vouchers will be offered to the first 40,000 fans at Oracle Park stadium, regardless of age. This means even a youngster can get in on the promotion. With the deal, those who attend that game can buy a one-way or round-trip coach ticket on Alaska Airlines at the regular price, and the second ticket will just be the cost of taxes for the flight.

Keep in mind the offer is valid for itineraries with exactly 2 passengers flying together, booked and ticketed in the same reservation and at the same fare.

Of course, like any promotion, there are rules. For starters, to take advantage of the promotion, travel must occur between October 29, 2019 and February 13 of next year, and those interested only have until 11.59pm PT on September 17, 2019 to book their flight. Blackout dates apply.

The discount is valid for those flying from Fresno, Monterey, Oakland Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose or Santa Rosa to any destination Alaska Airlines serves, excluding Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. It should be noted that while travelers can take advantage of the promotion for flights to Hawaii, Mexico and Costa Rice, travel to these destinations is valid from Sunday through Wednesday, while return flights are valid between Tuesday and Saturday.

During the game, there will be more on-tap, courtesy of Alaska Airlines. There will be pre-game events with giveaways outside the stadium, and flight attendants from the airline will leads fans in the seventh-inning stretch for a rendition of 'Take Me Out To The Ballgame'.
