Alaska Airlines is incredibly thrilled to announce that Dublin-based Aer Lingus is now officially its 16th Global Partner to offer award flights. This is fantastic news for Alaska Mileage Plan members as they now have more flight options getting to Europe. With effect from June 20, Alaska Mileage Plan members can redeem award flights to Dublin and beyond starting from 30,000 miles each way.

Alaska Airlines couldn't be more pleased with its deepened partnership with Aer Lingus as the carrier has been working to expand the worldwide destinations its customers can easily reach. Similarly, Aer Lingus is excited to introduce all that Ireland has to offer to more travelers as well as serve as a gateway to the rest of Europe. Aer Lingus is also delighted to share its legendary Irish hospitality with more North American travelers.

Right now, Aer Lingus serves Dublin from 13 North American cities, including nonstop flights from Alaska Airlines' gateway cities of Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Through Dublin, Aer Lingus offers access to a total of 61 cities across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Members of Alaska Airlines' award-winning frequent flyer program can now redeem for both Economy and Business Class seats on nonstop Aer Lingus flights from contiguous US and Canada (including Alaska) to Europe. Award tickets for Business Class flights start from 60,000 each way while award tickets for Economy Class flights start from 30,000 miles each way. What's more, Alaska Mileage Plan members can also redeem their miles for intra-Europe Economy Class flights starting from 8,000 miles each way.

In case you were wondering, Alaska Mileage Plan members will also get to earn base miles and elite qualifying bonus miles of up to 100% on Aer Lingus flights.
