The Carnival Panorama, Carnival Cruise Line's newest cruise ship, just successfully completed sea trials. The trials were done in the Adriatic Sea, which is close to where the ship was constructed in Marghera, Italy. Once the cruise line finishes up all the final touches, the ship will have a home base in Long Beach, California, close to Los Angeles.

The Carnival Panorama will be the first new Carnival ship to sail from the West Coast in more than 20 years. According to captain of Carnival Panorama, Carlo Queirolo, the ship passed all her tests with flying colors.

The cruise ship will have an inaugural three-night cruise on December 11. It will leave Long Beach and visit Ensenada, in Baja California, Mexico. On December 14, Carnival Panorama will offer its inaugural seven-day Mexican Riviera cruise, which will visit Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan. For those who are wondering, this cruise is available year-round.

The Carnival Panorama is unique and is set to offer amenities that are sure to keep everyone happy. It will offer the Sky Zone trampoline park, along with a Shaquille O'Neal-inspired ChooseFun WaterWorks aqua park. There will also be plenty of food and beverage options, including Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse Brewhouse. It will offer BBQ favorites and craft beers specially brewed on board.

Travelers will enjoy plenty of on-board accommodation options. Prices start at $525 per person for a week-long sailing. To book or learn more about the Carnival Panorama, you can do so directly through Carnival's website.
