Flying long-haul with Cathay Pacific soon? The Hong Kong-based carrier is pleased to announce that passengers flying aboard its long-haul fleet comprising all Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and selected Boeing B777-300ER and Airbus A350-900 planes can now enjoy a significantly expanded inflight entertainment content library in the skies.

To put things into perspective, Cathay Pacific is giving its long-haul customers access to four times more inflight entertainment content options than before. The airline couldn't be more pleased to boost the travel experience for its customers.

Flyers will appreciate carrier's move to keep the inflight entertainment offering refreshing. Besides offering an expanded repertoire of newly released blockbuster films and movies to be added every month as well as more Asian content than ever before, Cathay Pacific has revealed its enhanced inflight entertainment offering now boasts even more sports coverage - including newly available live coverage of the latest sports events - along with complete boxsets.

For sports fans, Cathay Pacific's partnership with channel Sport 24 means you get to enjoy live coverage of the world's best sporting events when flying on Cathay Pacific's state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft. For instance, passengers can catch the 2019 Rugby World Cup Finals live while in the air. Come next year, passengers can watch the Tokyo Olympics and Hong Kong Rugby Sevens live if they happen to be aboard Cathay Pacific's A350 flights. Rest assured live coverage of major sporting events like the Premier League, NFL, Tennis Grand Slams, Golf Majors, and more will also be made available.

The carrier also offers three live news channels to let customers aboard its A350 aircraft stay up-to-date. The three live news channels are: CNN, BBC, and Euronews.

Those who enjoy remastered classics and foreign films that aren't available at your local cinema have something to look forward to, too. The carrier has partnered with MUBI to source remastered classics and curated films that will be added to Cathay Pacific's enhanced inflight entertainment content library monthly.
