Flying with Delta on flights out of Boston, New York JFK or Los Angeles soon? The legacy carrier is pleased to share its customers will enjoy more premium seat options on their flights beginning this fall.

The main thing to know is that Delta flyers can look forward to enjoying greater comfort and consistency on the key long-haul international routes as well as transcontinental routes. These are made possible thanks to Delta's refurbished aircraft interiors. The upgraded Boeing 777 and Boeing 767-400 planes in Delta's fleet have just been added to more international routes from New York JFK, Los Angeles and Boston.

Customers on Delta's long-haul international flights between Los Angeles and Paris; Sydney; Shanghai; and Tokyo Haneda now all enjoy a consistent experience aboard the airline's refreshed Boeing 777 aircraft. The aircraft offers four distinct products on board, including the Crystal Cabin Award-Winning Delta One suite, along with Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin. The retrofitted Boeing 777 also offers a full-spectrum LED ambient lighting to help passengers minimize the effects of jet lag.

Travelers flying on key international flights from New York JFK and Boston will appreciate flying in newly retrofitted Boeing 767-400 planes to London Heathrow; Brussels; Nice; and Zurich. Delta will also be using the upgraded plane to operate its New York JFK-Sao Paulo flights starting next spring.

The updated Boeing 767-400 aircraft features a contemporary interior alongside four branded seat products, including a more private Delta One experience than ever before. Those flying in Main Cabin will be thrilled to know seats in Main Cabin and Delta Comfort+ have a 2-3-2 configuration. Memory foam cushions and full-spectrum LED ambient lighting throughout the four cabins are nice touches passengers can look forward to, too.

As for all transcontinental flights that link New York and Los Angeles, customers will be flown using the Boeing 767-300 aircraft. Compared to before where a mix of different aircraft types were used to operate the flights between New York JFK and Los Angeles, Delta passengers can now experience a consistent all-widebody cabin experience each time they fly with the airline on the competitive coast-to-coast route.

On a side note, Delta just started offering enhanced, reinvented service for Main Cabin passengers on international flights scheduled for 6.5 hours or longer. It is also available on some shorter international flights where Delta One or Delta Premium Select is offered.
