Delta Air Lines is incredibly thrilled to announce that the first of its four new, state-of-the-art concourses at New York's LaGuardia Airport will officially open to passengers next week. Travelers using Delta's new concourse will be treated to panoramic views of Flushing Bay and Citi Field, in addition to a much needed improved passenger experience at the frequently bemoaned airport.

The airy, light-filled and spacious concourse marks a major milestone in the airport's $8 billion transformation project. This is especially so as construction took place while the existing airport continued operations.

The newly constructed expansive new concourse spans 105,000-square-foot and will soon become Delta's Terminal C at the airport. Located on the far eastern side of LaGuardia Airport, the new facility houses seven gates, floor-to-ceiling windows, locally-inspired dining options, more seats at the new gate areas alongside ample charging outlets, respite places for passengers looking to unwind, digital wayfinding signs as well as amenities travelers in today's day and age have come to expect from a modern, efficient airport.

When complete by 2026, Delta's new terminal will feature a total of 37 gates peppered across four concourses connected by a centralized and streamlined check-in lobby, security checkpoint, and baggage claim as well as dual taxiways that will help reduce hold outs and taxi times. Also, passengers using the new terminal can look forward to enjoying more efficient airport roadways, more concessions space and bigger gate areas. A new and bigger Delta Sky Club complete with a Sky Deck is part of the mix, too.
