Flying on Delta Shuttle flights out of New York's LaGuardia Airport soon? Take note all Delta Shuttle flights from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Washington DC, Chicago and Boston will all depart from Delta Air Lines' new state-of-the-art new concourse with effect from November 16, 2019. Delta Shuttle customers will be among the first to experience Delta's newest facility at LaGuardia.

The terminal's new centralized check-in lobby in the new headhouse is scheduled to open in the early part of 2022. Before that happens, travelers can use the pedestrian walkway on the east side of Delta's existing Terminal D to access the new concourse.

Don't fret if you reckon you would require help. Delta will be deploying volunteer wayfinders from Delta's Peach Corps throughout the week at the airport to offer assistance.

Travelers who are using the Delta's new concourse will go through Terminal D's expanded security checkpoint. For passengers flying into New York's LaGuardia Airport and arriving into the new gates with checked luggage, remember to head over to Terminal D's baggage claim area to retrieve your checked bag(s).

For the uninitiated, the brand new concourse is the first of Delta's four new concourses at New York's LaGuardia Airport. The newly built concourse is spacious and modern; houses 7 gates; features floor-to-ceiling views of Flushing Bay and Citi Field; provides plenty of dining options from favorite New York chefs and eateries; and offers passengers an enhanced travel experience altogether.

Passengers using the new concourse will appreciate thoughtful touches such as the more roomy gate areas that now offer more seating and charging outlets, too. Digital wayfinding signs will also help travelers navigate the new facility better.
