Disney Cruise Line has announced that for the Summer 2019 travel season, it will be adding seven new destinations to its European Cruise packages as well as a round-trip cruise from Rome. The new cruises will be aboard the Disney Magic. The Disney Magic will travel to Mediterranean destinations in early summer and Northern Europe in late summer.

The new Rome round-trip cruise will depart from Civitavecchia, Rome and make port calls in Salerno and La Spezia, Italy, Villefranche and Marseilles, France, and Barcelona, Spain. Disney Cruise Line is also offering a three-night pre-cruise escape tour for guests while in Rome. This is a guided tour of many popular tourist destinations as well as a full experience of local culture and customs.

On its European cruises, the Disney Magic will now add the following seven destinations to the assortment of cruises offered:

  • Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden
  • Toulon and Brest, France
  • Cartagena, Spain
  • Frederica, Denmark
  • Belfast, Northern Ireland

Belfast has become one of the most popular new destinations in Northern Europe. Belfast has seen significant growth in tourism and has stated that 117 cruise ships are expected to dock in Belfast Harbor in 2018. Viking Line and Variety Cruises have recently added this destination to their rosters as well.

In addition to the European destinations, Disney Cruise Line will also offer many cruises to the Bahamas, Caribbean and Alaska. The cruise line is continually upgrading and updating all of its cruise packages to ensure that every Disney cruise is a unique experience. Disney Cruise Line has also stated that they will also provide the three-night pre-cruise tours in the following areas: Vancouver, Canada; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Barcelona, Spain.
