Disney has announced that it will begin taking reservations for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience later this year. The new themed hotel is set to open in 2021 at Walt Disney World in Florida.

The new themed hotel is unlike anything you could have ever imagined in a hotel experience. The experience itself is designed for a two-day and two-night adventure. Guests will feel as if they are living on a real space cruiser.

The experience begins when guests enter the (hotel) terminal and enter a pod to be blasted into space. Once their pod arrives on the star cruiser, the doors open to an atrium and a total immersion into life on a star cruiser. Guests will feel as if they are part of a broader Star Wars adventure.

Everything about the design will make guests feel as if they are in a Star Wars movie. Even the rooms have bunk beds like those so favored by Chewbacca in the movies. New and advanced technologies will give the entire experience a real 'techy' feel.

The opening of this new Star Wars experience comes after the opening of the Star Wars-themed park within Walt Disney World and Disneyland, as well as the release of The Rise of Skywalker, the final chapter in the Star Wars saga. Disney has also had much success with the release of 'The Mandalorian', a Star Wars-themed program playing on the Disney+ streaming channel.

Pricing for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience has yet to be released, as are package deals that could be offered for a complete Star Wars-themed vacation at the Disney park.
