Emirates has been making a concentrated effort to expand and improve services for its loyal customers, with an emphasis on enhancing its airport services for passengers waiting to depart. In support of that mission, the carrier publicly unveiled its luxurious new lounge at Boston Logan International Airport. The new space offers unprecedented amenities for premium travelers of select classes flying with the carrier.
Open as of July 13th, the new Emirates Lounge is open to First and Business class passengers, along with Skywards members with Gold or Platinum status. Emirates has pumped in nearly seven million dollars into the project, reflecting its significant presence at the terminal. Nearly 750,000 passengers have traveled to Dubai via Boston with the carrier, an impressive figure considering Emirates has only been with Logan International since 2014.
The new lounge aims to let customers begin their luxury vacation experience right at the terminal. Its features include an expansive, dedicated dining experience, consisting of both familiar and more exotic international dishes, supported with an extensive wine and beverage menu.
The contemporary design aesthetic is complemented by LED televisions, comfortable leather furniture, private business areas, modern art pieces, and enough space to service 123 customers. The lounge also offers a quiet, secluded prayer room.
For passengers looking to pamper themselves, the lounge offers a luxury spa experience in a bottle, with several skin and body products from VOYA, an Irish company with numerous industry awards, available for use in the lounge's on-site shower facilities.
Customers can also take advantage of the carrier's chauffeur service and dedicated lounge service. Emirates passengers looking to experience the new lounge can find it on Terminal E's upper level.
