Etihad Airways just became the latest airline to firm up a partnership with low-cost airline Easyjet. This means that, with the new partnership, travelers can enjoy increased connections between the route networks of both air carriers.

The new partnership is just a start. Both airlines have plans to expand their partnership to offer even more destinations in the future. The UAE-based carrier is the latest to join the Worldwide by Easyjet program.

Easyjet customers can now book seamlessly through the airline's website and enjoy connecting flights between 68 cities in Europe and Abu Dhabi via ten airports that Etihad serves in Europe. Etihad's gateways in Europe include:

  • Amsterdam
  • Athens
  • Barcelona
  • Paris Charles de Gaulle
  • Rome
  • Geneva
  • Madrid
  • Manchester
  • Milan Malpensa
  • Zurich

Now, those using Easyjet's website will be able to book flights in and out of the UAE. Customers will be shown flight options via a combination of the two airlines. Previously, these options would not have been offered. Not only will flyers have more options to get to and fro the UAE, but also they will have more access to destinations in Africa and the Azores.

With Worldwide by EasyJet, long-haul connecting flyers can enjoy a host of perks, including missed connection cover, a seamless one-stop booking process, fast track security and simple bag transfer at selected airports and more.
