Frontier is about to launch two new routes to the Dominican Republic. New flights to Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros will begin operating from March 10. Both destinations will be available from New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Frontier is rolling out the new routes with rates going as low as $94 for one-way tickets. In addition, new service to spots like El Salvador International Airport (SAL), San Juan Airport (SJU) and Cancun International Airport (CUN) will be flying out of hubs like Miami and Newark by the summer.

Let's take a look at all that we know about the new routes from Frontier. Flights to Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) from Newark are set to launch on March 10. However, flights out of Newark to Santiago de los Caballeros Cibao International Airport (STI) won't be kicking off until May 28. Frontier will be offering daily service between Newark and Santiago as well as Santo Domingo once the routes are in effect.

Frontier actually announced a total of 25 new direct routes back in December. One exciting piece of news attached to the announcement is that Frontier's new routes to Guatemala City and San Salvador will mark the carrier's return to Central America. In addition to adding many new destinations in Central America and the Caribbean, Frontier is also expanding service to several cities in the United States. The list of domestic destinations on the new roster includes Austin, Miami, Denver, Raleigh-Durham, Dallas/Forth Worth and Chicago.
