Frontier Airlines is adding four new Phoenix routes. The low-cost carrier just announced plans to begin four new routes out of Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) in the fall. Frontier will be adding daily service between Phoenix and San Diego starting in November. This will be a year-round route. In addition, daily year-round service between Phoenix and Salt Lake City is also starting on the same day.

Non-daily service between Phoenix and Detroit is also being added on a seasonal basis. The same goes for a new route between Phoenix and Fargo.

Here's a breakdown of what it all looks like:

  • PHX to Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) begins on Nov. 15 and runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
  • PHX to Hector International Airport (FAR) begins on Nov. 14 and runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
  • PHX to San Diego International Airport (SAN) begins on Nov. 14 and runs daily.
  • PHX to Salt Lake International Airport (SLC) begins on Nov. 14 and runs daily.

News of these four new routes comes following the announcement that new flights between Phoenix and Las Vegas are also starting in November. Frontier will serve a total of 14 destinations from Sky Harbor once all of these new routes are active.
