Hilton has announced that it will open a brand new hotel at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu. The company will build a brand new Homewood Suites hotel next to the airport. This will be the first extended-stay property by Hilton in Hawaii.

The property will be a 15-story structure that includes a total of 231 suites. Hilton has not released a lot of information about the project at this time except that it plans to break ground soon to begin construction.

Properties under the Homewood Suites brand are Hilton's upscale extended stay properties that offer elegant suites with full-sized kitchens and separate relaxation as well as sleeping areas. Each Homewood Suites hotel is designed to let guests enjoy more amenities while in an extended stay setting.

Guests enjoy a free full-sized hot breakfast each morning and complimentary Wi-Fi service in their suite and all common areas of the hotel. Each Monday through Thursday night, the hotel also provides a complimentary social gathering so that guests can mingle during their stay.

The Homewood Suites brand does participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program and has a sliding scale for redeeming points and cash when booking your suite for an extended stay. Hilton has stated that the new property will open sometime in 2021 although no official opening date has given at this time.
