Hyatt wants to treat you to breakfast during your upcoming trip. The hotel chain is offering free breakfast for each morning during your stay. Hyatt is also throwing some room discounts into the mix. You just have to book by Sept. 8 with plans to complete your check-in by Dec. 20 to take advantage. Here's what's on the table:

  • World of Hyatt members can save up to 20 percent on the cost of stays.
  • Non-member guests can save 15 percent on the cost of stays.
  • Free breakfast is included each morning of your stay when you book through this promo.

There's really no reason not to get the full discount of up to 20 percent as a Hyatt member because signing up for membership is completely free. However, you should know that Hyatt's generous promo does not apply if you're booking at Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Residence Club, Alila Ventana/Big Sur, Miraval Austin, Miraval Tucson and some Hyatt Destination Residences. That means you need to do your homework and ask questions when booking to ensure that you don't miss out on opportunities for savings.

The good news is that you don't have to hunt around for a promo code to take advantage of this deal. Hyatt will apply the discount when you book through the normal channels via the Hyatt website or app. All you have to do is search your destination on the Hyatt website, book the rate named 'Save 15% + Breakfast' or 'Members Save More + Breakfast' by Sept. 8.

The last thing to know is that Hyatt currently has a very flexible policy for cancellations. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours in advance without getting stuck with a penalty.
