InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is pleased to announce the development of a new InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts property in uptown Dallas. The luxury hotel will be nestled in a 42-story mixed-use building called Cityplace Tower, offering a total of 223 chic rooms.

While the hotel will only take up 8 of the building's 42 floors, the InterContinental hotel in Dallas will house a restaurant complete with a full bar for guests to enjoy a drink or two. IHG has revealed that plans for the restaurant include a terrace on the fourth floor that overlooks the uptown neighborhood as well as downtown Dallas.

In addition, the property will also boast the brand's signature Club InterContinental Lounge, onsite parking, a business center, a fitness center alongside an outdoor pool. There will be lots of space perfect for meetings as the new hotel will feature both banquent and ballroom space. Guests can look forward to a grand experience the moment they arrive at the hotel; it has been promised the main entrance will be specially designed to impress. Driving? The hotel will include a porte-cochere for valet operations. There will also be a dedicated space for drop-off/pick-up activities.

IHG has made it clear the hotel chain remains committed to growing the world's biggest luxury hotel brand. It currently has 205 InterContinental properties open around the world along with another 61 in its development pipeline in some of the most coveted destinations across the globe.

The newly announced InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in Dallas is poised to start welcoming guests in the early part of 2022.
