IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) has one more luxury brand in its portfolio thanks to the acquisition of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas. The hospitality giant is pleased to welcome Six Senses to the IHG family. With the addition of Six Senses, IHG now has a total of four luxury brands including InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Regent® Hotels & Resorts and Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants.

What's even more interesting is that each Six Senses property has something genuinely unique to offer to its guests when experiences and locations are involved. On another note, Six Senses is poised to grow its portfolio of properties to a total of 60 within the next 10 years. Some of these properties in the pipeline include villas on a private Cambodian island as well as the brand's first hotel in North America.
The said North American urban concept will debut in New York in 2020 comprising a modern duo of twisting towers while Six Senses Krabey Island in Cambodia will start welcoming guests on March 1 of this year. Six Senses Krabey Island will be home to 40 splendid villas all with their own private plunge pools.
With IHG's acquisition of the Six Senses brand, travelers will soon be able to book their stays at Six Senses properties via IHG's reservation platforms, such as the IHG website and mobile app. Six Senses will also be integrated into the hospitality giant's loyalty program IHG® Rewards Club in time to come.
