Earlier this month, Kimpton Karma Rewards became a part of IHG® Rewards Club and this merge means that there is now a single rewards program - IHG Rewards Club. Kimpton Karma members are automatically enrolled in the IHG Rewards Club program and have the ability to earn and redeem nights at more than 5,200 properties around the globe. It has been nearly three years since InterContinental Hotels Group acquired Kimpton. However, the process of merging the two rewards programs has been slow.

Members of the former Kimpton Karma Rewards program who had valid Karma Free Night Rewards had these converted to IHG® Rewards Club Reward Nights with the merge, these can be found in their new IHG® Rewards Club account and reward nights will keep their existing expiration date. These nights can now be redeemed at any IHG® hotel.

IHG Rewards Club members will now have the ability to earn and redeem points at more than 60 of Kimpton's boutique hotels. Kimpton offers 65 boutique hotels in 34 cities. Some of the most celebrated hotels in the Kimpton portfolio include the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville, the Kimpton Alexis Hotel in Seattle, the Kimpton Buchanan Hotel in San Francisco, the Kimpton Everly Hotel in Los Angles, the Kimpton Rouge Hotel in Washington's Dupont Circle and the Kimpton Muse Hotel located near Times Square in New York City.

Elite members of IHG® Rewards Club will be able to benefit from perks such as the 'Raid the Bar' perk, where members may use a $10 credit ($15 in New York) toward a drink in the hotel bar or in their room-mini bar at Kimpton hotels.
