JetBlue's newest nonstop route between New York and Guayaquil, Ecuador will take to the skies starting December 5, subject to government approval, aboard the carrier's new Airbus A321neo aircraft. This is JetBlue's longest route in its growing network and the carrier intends to offer the service daily between New York JFK Airport and José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport. For those who are interested, tickets are already available for purchase.

JetBlue is incredibly thrilled to be expanding its service in Guayaquil with the addition of the route connecting New York and the Ecuadorian city. This is especially so since the existing New York-Guayaquil market suffers from limited service choices and high airfares.

Besides giving those in the New York area another fabulous nonstop destination they can reach easily, JetBlue gets to grow its international footprint, too. In case you didn't already know, Guayaquil serves as a convenient gateway to the Galapagos Islands.

The New York-Guayaquil flight is scheduled to depart New York at 2.00pm and arrive in Guayaquil at 9.04pm. The Guayaquil-New York flight is scheduled to depart Guayaquil at 10.55pm and arrive back in New York at 5.13am the following day. All times local.

The newly added flight is made possible thanks to JetBlue's new Airbus A321neo aircraft which offers extended range and better fuel efficiency.

Passengers traveling on the route will enjoy the extra comfortable Collins Meridian seats available onboard, in addition to free seatback inflight entertainment on 10.1 inch, 1080P HD screens, JetBlue's award-winning comfort and connectivity. Additionally, passengers will be happy to learn that every Collins Meridian seat also comes with adjustable headrest and power connections for enhanced customer experience.

JetBlue currently offers service between Fort Lauderdale and Guayaquil. The airline also serves Quito, Ecuador from Fort Lauderdale.
