Marriott International has finally confirmed the rumor that the hotel giant will open a third hotel tower at Disney World. The hotel chain currently owns and operates The Dolphin and The Swan resorts at the theme park. The third hotel, named The Cove, will be nestled in the same area as these two resorts.

The Cove will feature 14 floors and have a total of 343 rooms. The Cove, however, will place a majority of its focus on business travelers instead of leisure travelers. The hotel will dedicate over half of their rooms to business suites. These suites are specially designed to be able to be quickly transformed by the guest into a conference area on top of boasting additional features such as AV access and other business-oriented amenities.

The Cove will feature over 22,000 square feet of space that can be used for meetings. It has a rooftop reception area, two beautiful ballrooms and twelve distinct meeting room areas. The beautiful glass covered tower is being designed to ensure that guests using the rooftop space in the evenings will have a perfect view of the fireworks display put on by Disney World.

The hotel will feature a restaurant with a 90-seat capacity, two lounges and an area where guests can purchase grab-and-go food. The location of the resort also places guests within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in the Disney World resort area.

The groundbreaking ceremony has already taken place, and construction is slated to start immediately. The Cove is anticipated to open on March 1, 2021.
