MSC Cruises will formally debut its newest ship in March 2019. The MSC Bellissima is the second mega-ship for MSC Cruises to be launched since 2017. The European-based cruise company has been rapidly expanding over the last few years and has opted for several of these mega-ships for its fleet.

The MSC Bellissima will have capacity for 5,986 passengers. It will feature 32 different eating establishments on board and will offer spectacular shows for passengers to enjoy, including performances by Cirque du Soleil. Some dining highlights include the sushi bar, an American-style steakhouse and a tapas bar.

Each stateroom will be equipped with an AI assistant designed specifically for the cruise industry. Zoe, the AI assistant, speaks seven languages and is able to provide answers to many of the most commonly asked questions on a cruise. The AI assistant was designed to heighten the customer experience while they cruise in bliss.

The promenade area will feature an LED sky screen that is the length of a football field. The children's play area will be over 7,000 square feet in size and will feature a school of magic program along with toys by LEGO to take things up a notch for the little ones. There will be a weekly magic talent show for the kids to enjoy and showcase what they have learned.

The ship will launch for the Mediterranean for its opening season and will eventually sail to the Emirates, where it will offer cruises during the winter months of 2019 and early 2020.

Additionally, MSC Cruises is proud to announce that this new ship is one of its most environmentally-friendly ships in the fleet. Everything from how the emissions are released to how the staterooms are heated have been upgraded to be kinder to the environment.
