MSC Cruises just released more details about its private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. The private island, located in the Bahamas, is set to open in November. It will feature a family lagoon, eight beaches, evening entertainment and even a spa.

For those who want to relax at the beach, they are in luck. Not only will the island feature eight beaches throughout the island, but they will all be monitored by lifeguards, which should give parents plenty peace of mind. Parents will also love Seakers Family Cove, a shallow lagoon where there will be plenty of activities and organized games for kids. There will also be lifeguards on duty at Seakers Family Cove.

Previously, the cruise line released some details about what visitors on the private island will be able to do. MSC Cruises announced that visitors would be able to rent smaller private islands near Ocean Cay. It was also announced that snorkel safaris and seven distinct bars will be available.

Cruises are famous for offering plenty of food. Those visiting the island won't feel left out. The island will have a food court, which will be a buffet-style that offers classic kids' favorites and American food. There will be plenty to do at night, too. Visitors can look forward to a light show near the 98 foot lighthouse, which is located at the center of the island. There will also be a traditional junkanoo parade, which is a parade with music and dancing, along with colorful costumes.

New shore excursions that were announced include evening stargazing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. For those who are interested, check out the cruise line's dedicated website, which offers more detailed information about this special place.
