Newcastle International Airport will open a third executive lounge next summer in time for the busy travel season. The lounge will soon be under construction, and when completed, the luxury facility will have room for up to 100 guests.

The lounge will offer an upscale bar area, along with dedicated working zones with desks, fast Wi-Fi and charging points. The space will appeal to a wide variety of passengers who want a place to relax in or get work done. It will offer great hospitality and views of the runway. The lounge's design will be comfortable, yet luxurious at the same time.

While not a lot of information about the lounge has been made known thus far, we do know that guests will get to enjoy panoramic views of the runway, in addition to having plenty of quality food and drinks to choose from when they are at the new premium lounge.

Those who want to visit the lounge will be able to pre-book access starting January 2020. Travelers will be able to book via the NCL Airport App or the Newcastle Airport website. Currently, the airport houses two other executive lounges - the Aspire Lounge and the British Airways Lounge.

According to Nick Jones, Chief Executive at Newcastle International Airport, airline lounges are becoming increasing popular. By opening a new one next summer, the airport can ensure that it is meeting the needs of its flyers. The airport, for the past two years, has been voted the best airport of its size in Europe.

At this time, the airport has not released details regarding lounge access cost or details on the construction schedule. As the opening day approaches, more details are sure to be revealed to the public.
