Paine Field is experiencing significant growth. The airport now supports flights from Alaska Airlines and United Airlines, and demand for flights from all servicing airlines continues to increase. Located 24 miles north of Seattle, this smaller airport is offering many travelers shorter lines and less crowded flights than those found at the main airport in Seattle.

The one drawback to Paine Field, however, has been limited hotel space and even more limited parking. A solution to the problem has been announced.

Two Marriott branded hotels will be built less than a mile from the new main passenger terminal that will offer travelers a place to stay and a place to park their cars. Any guest who stays at either property for at least one night will have the option of leaving their vehicle in the parking lot for airport parking. Between 200-300 parking spots will be offered. Free shuttle service to the airport will be provided, too.

The two hotels, a 128-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott and a 74-room TownPlace Suites by Marriott will be constructed on the east side of Airport Road right near the new passenger terminal. SpringHill Suites by Marriott will offer modern single rooms, a restaurant and a bar area. On the other hand, TownPlace Suites by Marriott will offer 74 mini suites intended for extended stays. Both hotels will share a single check-in area.

The management group poised to build the hotels has stated that groundbreaking should take place in the fall or winter of 2019, and both properties will be completed within 18 months.

Right now, there are only two other hotels located near Paine Field. Both are over a mile away, and only one of these hotels features shuttle service. Both do not offer extended parking options.
