Priority Pass just announced the best airport lounges of 2017. The year's overall winner is Club Kingston at Kingston Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica. The lounge was chosen for its elegant layout and impeccable ambience. Guests are greeted with a soundtrack of gentle reggae music when they show up to enjoy a signature cocktail at the lounge's bar or unwind in some comfortable seating. Guests also encounter artwork and décor that has been sourced from places throughout Jamaica as they explore the lounge.

There were also awards given out to lounges in several different categories. Estonia's Tallinn Airport Business Lounge at Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport earned the distinction of being ranked the best lounge in Europe. There's no doubt that the lounge's sleeping pods, library, massage chair, outdoor terrace, inviting fireplace and eclectic mix of local food and spirits helped it to take home the honor. The Ahlan Business Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport took the prize as the top lounge in the Middle East and Africa. The SATS Premier Lounge at Singapore Changi International Airport earned the title for being the lounge of the year in Asia Pacific. Salon VIP Lounge at Québec's Jean Lesage International Airport beat out a heavy mix of contenders to take home the title as the top lounge in North America.

Priority Pass determined the winners in each category using ratings from its members. Ratings were provided through the Priority Pass website and app. Members rated individual lounges based on overall lounge quality, the quality of refreshments, the availability of business facilities, staff interactions and ambience.
