Priority Pass, the independent airport lounge membership program, has released its annual Lounge of the Year awards. This year, the program included over 1,000 lounges in over 500 airports around the world. The winners were spread out across the world and included several lounges that are new to the list.

Overall Winner: Club Kingston – Kingston Norman Manley International

Club Kingston ranked at the top of the list in every category. The Jamaican décor and soft reggae music playing in the background is only the beginning of everything that visitors love about this lounge. The authentic Jamaican foods and on-site bartender makes visiting this lounge a very pleasant experience. Nonetheless, business travelers will also love this lounge. There is a conference center along with dedicated work stations available at all times for business travelers to utilize.

Best Lounge In Europe: Tallinn Airport Business Lounge – Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport

The Tallinn Lounge was designed to make travelers feel as if they were waiting for their plane in the comfort of their own home. The airport itself has been designated as the "coziest airport in the world". Lounge guests will find features such as massage chairs, sleeping pods and a gorgeous electric fireplace to sit by and read from one of the many books in their library. Locally curated foods and spirits complement the lounge, and the outdoor terrace is perfect for a breath of fresh air.

The second place in this category went to La Vallette Lounge at Malta International Airport.

Best Lounge in Africa and Middle East: Ahlan Business Class Lounge - Dubai International Airport

The Ahlan Lounge in Dubai International Airport was ranked as the best lounge in Africa and the Middle East and the second best Business Lounge in the world after Orlando International Airport. The lounge offers a bountiful buffet of Arabic dishes as well as an a-la-carte menu for personalized dining. Cocktails created just for the lounge are handcrafted for each guest. A spa area makes the lounge even more relaxing.

The second place in this category was awarded to the Dilmun Lounge at Bahrain International Airport.

Best Lounge in Asia-Pacific: SATS Premier Lounge T2, Changi International Airport

The SATS Lounge offers travelers a true experience of Singapore's culture, food, and entertainment. This lounge is continually ranked high on the "Best of" lists because of its unique features and superior service. One of the most popular items offered at this lounge are the Mooncakes, which are made only during the Mooncake Festival.

The second place in this category was awarded to Strata Lounge at Auckland International Airport.

Best Lounge in North America: Salon VIP Lounge – Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport

The Salon VIP Lounge is an exquisitely designed lounge that is both modern and minimalistic at the same time. Light meals are prepared to order, and a full service bar is available. A fully equipped business area is located on one side of the lounge and an entertainment area on the other. Free Wi-Fi is available for all guests, too.
