Doha-based Qatar Airways prides itself on offering some of the best inflight experiences in the industry even for its customers in Economy Class. That commitment has surely paid off as Qatar Airways has just swept home three awards at the 2020 APEX Passenger Choice Awards which took place in Los Angeles early this week.
The airline won the ‘Best Seat Comfort', ‘Best Cabin Service', and ‘Best Food & Beverage' awards. Needless to say, Qatar Airways was also named a ‘2020 Five Star Global Airline'. Qatar Airways couldn't be more ecstatic since travelers were the ones who cast their votes independently.
The carrier is incredibly thrilled to have gained travelers' recognition for all the efforts it has been making to improve the travel experience for its customers.
Case in point, the airline launched Quisine for its Economy Class passengers to elevate their inflight dining experience when they fly with Qatar Airways. Not only do Economy Class passengers get to enjoy bigger, better meals during flights, these redesigned menu items are healthier as well. They now feature local, fresh, in-season ingredients - always a good idea to know we aren't just ingesting the usual sodium-laden processed foods.
For those on flights stretching five hours or more, Quisine offers pre-dinner drink options, too. The array of snacks available has also been improved thanks to Quisine. It is hardly surprising that Qatar Airways won the ‘Best Food & Beverage' award, isn't it?
And in case you missed this nugget of information, Qatar Airways was named World's Best Airline 2019 at this year's Skytrax World Airline Awards. This highly coveted accolade is Qatar Airways' absolute pride; it is the first ever carrier in the world to have won the World's Best Airline award for the fifth time. Singapore Airlines, another award-winning carrier, took home the World's Best Airline award for a total of four times so far.
