While getting paid to travel the world sounds like a dream, for one lucky person, it will become a reality. Royal Caribbean is offering one lucky person the chance to become a 'shore explorer'.

Those who want to take a shot at landing the job can apply by sharing their favorite travel experience. Entrants can share a picture or video on Instagram, Insta-Stories or IGTV and must tag #ShoreExplorer and @RoyalCaribbeanUK. Aspiring world travelers must hold a valid passport, be over 21 and be free to travel this year between May and August. If you want to enter the contest, you still have time. Royal Caribbean is accepting entries until March 1.

Whoever is chosen will have to work to earn their pay. They will need to travel the world and post for everyone to see on social media via Instagram, Insta-Stories and IGTV. The job offers many perks, including hotel stays, meals, non-alcoholic beverages and a daily allowance. On top of all that, the 'Shore Explorer' will earn approximately $2,500 (£2,000) a week for a total of three weeks upon completion of their journey.

The lucky winner will enjoy many destinations around the world and visit Japan, Alaska, Europe and the Middle East. He or she will also be one of the first to visit Perfect Day℠ at CocoCay®. This new and exclusive private island in the Bahamas will offer the tallest waterslide in North America, a huge helium balloon that goes 450 feet into the air and overwater cabanas, where guests can feel like they are in Bora Bora.

Travel will occur between May and August. The winner will be required to travel at least three, and as many as four, consecutive weeks at a time.
