Silver Airways has announced that the airline will be launching daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS) starting early next year. The carrier is thrilled to offer military, leisure as well as business travelers yet another affordable and convenient way to travel within Florida.

The flight from Fort Lauderdale to Pensacola will commence on February 13, 2019 while the return leg from Pensacola to Fort Lauderdale will commence the day later on February 14, 2019. Flight #95 is scheduled to depart Fort Lauderdale daily at 6:20pm and arrive in Pensacola at 7:40pm. Flight #96 is scheduled to depart Pensacola at 7:15am and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 10:25am on Saturdays. On the remaining days of the week, flight #96 is scheduled to depart Pensacola at 7:45am and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 10:55am.

According to Silver Airways CEO Steve Rossum, the adding of a direct service linking South Florida and the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast region came natural to the carrier as Silver Airways has an existing extensive route network in the Sunshine State.

To complement the soon-to-be-launched new service, Silver Airways offers seamless connections beyond Fort Lauderdale to Key West and the Bahamas. Travelers can also easily access connections to destinations throughout the Caribbean and Latin America through Silver Airways' interline ticketing partners including United, JetBlue, Avianca and Azul Brazilian Airlines.

For those who do not already know, Silver Airways operates the most routes within Florida as well as between Florida and the Bahamas from its hubs in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa.

What's more, frequent flyer members of United's MileagePlus® and JetBlue's TrueBlue loyalty programs can also earn frequent flyer awards for travel throughout Silver's network. This should come as good news if you have never flown Silver Airways but are looking to use their services.
