Spirit Airlines is on a network expansion roll. Despite launching new nonstop service between Nashville and Baltimore/Washington, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Orlando yesterday, the ultra-low-cost carrier has moved swiftly to add new nonstop routes from Austin and Nashville. Travelers looking to head to Cancun, Mexico are in luck. Those looking to travel domestically are not left out, too.

Spirit Airlines is adding three new exciting destinations for Austin travelers, in addition to increasing flights to Orlando. The Miramar-based ultra-low-cost carrier is adding four new destinations for Nashville travelers, on top of increasing flight frequency to Orlando (MCO). As previously announced, Spirit Airlines' Nashville-Tampa service is debuting on November 5, 2019.

The newly announced flights from Austin (AUS) include service to Cancun (CUN); Nashville (BNA); and Newark (EWR).

The Austin-Cancun service is slated to begin on February 26, 2020. This four times weekly service is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Also on February 26, Spirit Airlines will increase the number of flights between Austin and Orlando. Travelers can expect the carrier to operate 11 flights per week. Both Austin-Nashville and Austin-Newark service will operate daily starting March 26, 2020.

The newly announced flights from Nashville (BNA) include service to Cancun (CUN); Austin (AUS); Newark (EWR) and Los Angeles (LAS).

The Nashville-Cancun service is poised to start on February 27, 2020. The thrice weekly service is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On February 27, Spirit Airlines will up the number of flights it operates to Orlando to 10 flights per week. Both Nashville-Los Angeles and Nashville-Newark service will operate daily starting March 12, 2020. As mentioned above, the daily Nashville-Austin service will launch on March 26, 2020.
