The T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island announced that it has officially opened a lounge in the airport. The Escape Lounge is the first of its kind in the T.F. Green Airport (PVD).

The cost of the entrance to the lounge includes access to free high-speed Wi-Fi, non-alcoholic drinks and a food bar. The lounge is equipped with large and comfortable seating as well as areas where guests can work before boarding their flight.

Many airport lounges are exclusive to a single airline, a group of airlines that are in a partnership, or a passengers flying on specific seating classes. Plenty of airlines that have exclusive lounges have one for their First Class passengers and one for their Business Class passengers. The Escape Lounges are meant to be inclusive.

Passengers flying on any airline can purchase entrance to the Escape Lounge, and they can be traveling in any seating class. The only requirement that the Escape Lounge has for its clients is that they are looking for a comfortable place to relax before their flight.

Escape Lounges come with an entrance fee. The T.F. Green Airport has not announced its fee at this time. However, the typical price for entrance into other Escape Lounges across the country stands at $45 per guest when they purchase access at walk-in. Those who book online get to enjoy a $5 discount. Travelers who have an American Express Platinum membership can access any Escape Lounge at no additional charge. The lounge is part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection.
