You have the opportunity to earn double the miles through two new Capital One transfer partners. Emirates and Singapore Airlines are both now on board with the financial giant. There's even a special bonus for customers in the mix. Points can now be transferred at a ratio of two to one. Here's a list of the cards you'll need to own if you want to take advantage of this perk:

  • Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card
  • Capital One VentureOne Credit Card
  • Capital One Spark Miles for Business
  • Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business

Owning a Capital One card can still be beneficial even if you don't routinely fly with Emirates or Singapore Airlines. Capital One's list of partner airlines was already robust even before Emirates and Singapore Airlines were added. It includes giants like Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air France/KLM, Alitalia, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Qantas, Qatar, Finnair and more. Venture cardholders can transfer their miles to the loyalty programs of these airlines at a rate of 2 Venture miles to 1.5 airline miles.

In addition to offering new opportunities for transferring points for miles, Capital One also recently introduced some other perks for travel-minded customers. Anyone with a Spark Miles card will now have the cost of TSA PreCheck membership covered. Customers with Spark Miles cards also earn 10 times the miles when they book stays using Hotels.com. That means that customers could potentially earn up to 7.5 airline miles for every dollar spent if they transfer their Venture miles to Capital One's airline partners.
