The TWA Hotel at New York's JFK airport will start taking reservations on February 14. The hotel will open on May 15, though the grand opening celebration won't take place until sometime in the fall. Room rates, for now, start at $249 per night and must be made via the hotel's website. The hotel will boast 512 rooms and two six-story towers. Those staying at the hotel will get to enjoy a martini bar in their room.

The biggest advantage of staying at the hotel is obviously the location. Guests staying at the hotel will be able to enjoy views of planes taking off and landing. It won't be noisy in the room as the glass curtain walls are 4.5 inches thick.

While everything might not be ready by May, the hotel will feature six restaurants and eight bars. Those who want a caffeine fix will enjoy the Intelligentsia coffee bar. There will also be carts with coffee placed throughout the hotel.

One of the most anticipated, and impressive, features of the hotel will be the cocktail lounge housed in a 1958 Lockheed Constellation. The rare vintage airplane has a storied history with a happy ending, and the full restoration is sure to impress.

Starting in July of this year, guests will be able to book events at the hotel. It will offer 50,000 square feet of modern-designed event space. With outdoor terraces and a rooftop pool, along with an observation deck, the venue is perfect for small and large gatherings alike. The event space can hold up to 1,600 people.

The hotel isn't all business. It includes a state-of-the-art 10,000 square feet fitness facility. With spinning, yoga and a host of amenities, guests have no excuses not to work out.
