Flyers passing through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport now have another couple of choices for lounges. Though, visitors to one of the new lounges will need American Express Platinum or Centurion privileges. With the two new lounges located side-by-side, there is over 9,500 square feet of space for travelers to relax before a flight.

In Terminal 4, the Centurion Lounge opened on Monday. The lounge offers private phone areas, Wi-Fi access throughout, power outlets and workspaces. Guests who want to just sit back and relax will love the floor-to-ceiling windows that offer amazing views. Those who fancy a drink can enjoy the complimentary full bar complete with bespoke cocktails and curated wines.

A new Escape Lounge also just opened up right next door also on Monday. The Escape Lounge offers a silent digital library, where guests can use noise-canceling headphones and have access to over 7,000 publications. There are even children's activities available at the lounge. Travelers who do not have complimentary access to the lounge can get into the Escape Lounge by paying $45, plus tax. If you make the reservation online, prior to your arrival, you'll enjoy a savings of $5.

Both lounges will share menu items. Visitors will enjoy a menu inspired by the chef's hometown, Mexico City. At both lounges, hungry travelers will be able to enjoy chorizo and eggs, tortilla soup, roasted cauliflower with harissa, pollo asado with tamarind glaze and a masala galam yogurt sauce.

The lounges will feature a shared entrance but will offer separate reception areas. Terminal 4 at Phoenix airport is the largest terminal at the airport and is a major hub for American Airlines. Both lounges are located across from Gate B22.
