United Airlines officially opened its Polaris Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport on the 12th of January. The much-anticipated opening comes after the lounge experienced several delays. The new Polaris Lounge is nestled in the area near Gate 73 in LAX Terminal 7. This places the lounge only steps away from any departing United flight.

The Polaris Lounge is a complement to the new Polaris Business Class cabins United offers. These exceptional cabins have set a new standard in the industry, and the lounges are following suit. The Polaris Lounge is impressive in every way.

Themed to embrace the essence of Los Angeles, the lounge is decorated using artwork from local artists and emanates an overall LA vibe. Food and beverages distinct to the area are featured in the lounge, too.

The lounge has a daybed area where guests can take a quick nap between flights and a luxurious shower area with designer amenities available for use if they care to freshen up. There is a large business area, free Internet access and roomy comfortable chairs where you can cozy up with a movie or a paper while charging your electronic devices. The restaurant-style dining features exceptional foods and beverage options.

This is the fifth Polaris Lounge to be launched by the airline. The other four lounges can be found in San Francisco, Chicago, Houston and Newark. United has stated that it plans to launch additional Polaris lounges in the near future.
