There's a new lounge to check out if you'll be passing through LaGuardia. United Airlines just opened a new lounge at the East Coast hub. The new United Club lounge at LaGuardia is part of the big redevelopment that's being conducted at Terminal B. The new lounge is 30 percent bigger than the United Club lounge it's replacing. Visitors are sure to appreciate the very sleek vibe of the space. The lounge is located right after security near United's gates inside the new Terminal B Eastern Concourse. United is officially operating five gates out of the new space as of this weekend. The upgraded concourse features 13 new shops and restaurants in total. Travelers can do some shopping or grab coffee and shakes while enjoying the new space.

Putting your feet up won't be a problem when you stop in New York during an upcoming journey. The United Club lounge at LaGuardia boasts more than 200 seats. The lounge also offers food options that are sure to please. The menu includes famous bagels from Ess-a-Bagel of New York. There's also a Greek salad bar full of fresh goodies and a hot bar full of rotating hot foods. You can expect to find things like oven-baked ziti and goat-cheese flatbread when you check out the hot-foods selection.

The United Club lounge also delivers free Wi-Fi to visitors. You can take advantage of private phone booths if you need a quiet space to make some calls. There's also a wellness room inside the lounge.
