The newly remodeled W Washington DC has just made its debut, showcasing its highly anticipated, floor-to-rooftop redesign. The iconic hotel located a stone's throw from the White House has finally completed its $50m renovation project that has wholly transformed all guestrooms at the property, the famed POV Rooftop Bar and Living Room, and 12,000 square feet of contemporary meeting and event space, alongside the addition of two new restaurants.

Living Room is what the W brand calls its ‘see and be seen' lobby. The renovation project has most certainly breathed new life into W Washington DC's Living Room. A sleek waterfall greets guests the moment they step foot into the lobby, which now features dramatic design touches and art throughout the space. What's more, the hotel now has a geometric-shaped lobby bar that serves up handcrafted cocktails.

Thanks to the overhaul project, W Washington DC now boasts a total of 326 guestrooms, including 15 Fantastic suites, 8 Marvelous suites, 7 WOW suites, and 1 Extreme WOW suite (the W brand's version of the Presidential Suite). Before guests even reach their room, the hallways tease with a clever play of lighting, shadows and neon artworks. Every newly designed guestroom features bold style and fun references to the city cleverly juxtaposed with classical architecture. All the quirky touches, of course, do not interfere with guests enjoying a good night's sleep during their stay.

The revamped POV - W Washington DC 's iconic rooftop with direct views of the White House - is now a destination in and of itself. POV now boasts floor-to-ceiling retractable glass windows on the Terrace in addition to vast windows that open out in the Lounge for unparalleled views of the famous sites. Guests can enjoy an array of delicious craft cocktails while they unwind and take in the views at POV. The food menu spotlights seafood with an all-day ‘ocean-to-table' concept. There are innovative creations as well as hearty options for diners to choose from. Handcrafted burgers are available, too.

For those who want to explore other dining options at W Washington DC, check out its two new culinary concepts - Cherry and Corner Office. Those who enjoy wood-fire grilled food will appreciate Cherry's menu that focuses on simple, accessible food that's cooked from scratch. Corner Office is perfect if you are craving unique craft beers to go along with artisan wood-fired pizzas.
